Professor William Candelario
Prof. William Candelario Head Instructor

Professor William "Will" Candelario is a lifelong martial artist. He trained in several Japanese martial arts and represented Puerto Rico in karate as a member of the Puerto Rico Olympic team, competing at World Championships and international events around the globe and earning gold, silver and bronze medals.

After moving to Los Angeles, he met Rubens Charles Maciel "Cobrinha", a multiple-time World Champion and a legend of the sport. Will went on to compete under Cobrinha with great success, became an instructor under him, and built a school under his guidance in Los Angeles, California.

He then returned home to Puerto Rico to give back to his country and its people by bringing the Cobrinha System to Aguadilla. Today he passes that knowledge on to kids and adults across the island.

His mission is to change lives through Jiu-Jitsu and to build a community rooted in respect, love, compassion, greatness, resilience and discipline, empowering every student to follow their dreams.
